EdgeC and Curv 2 Flow are carpet-aware, but their exact lift distances remain unresolved in PIQSY's current canonical records.

A larger verified lift is useful context. It is not a guarantee that every high-pile rug stays dry; actual pile and edge geometry still matter.

Automatic mop removal changes the architecture

X50 Ultra is unusual because it can automatically remove mop pads for long-pile carpet.

That is different from keeping wet hardware on the robot and lifting it by a fixed distance.

For a carpet-heavy mixed-floor home, this can be a stronger structural solution than comparing lift millimetres alone.

A carpet guard is another distinct solution

Aqua10 Ultra Roller combines 14mm lift with an AutoSeal roller guard.

That is a different carpet-protection architecture from X50's mop removal or a conventional lift-only system.

Choose based on the actual floor problem rather than declaring one mechanism universally superior.

Pet hair changes the carpet side

Long hair makes brush design and demonstrated pickup more important.

Those evidence types should not be collapsed into one score.

Physical constraints can overrule floor fit

A floor-perfect robot is still a bad choice if it cannot reach the room.
