Exact product first
PIQSY aims to identify the exact product rather than relying on a brand family name alone. Australian model codes and market-specific specifications are preferred where they can be verified.
Where our information comes from
Manufacturer and official Australian product records are our main sources for specifications and intended features. Retailer records can support current pricing, availability and model identity. Reputable independent sources may be used for testing, ownership context or cross-checking where relevant.
When sources disagree
If credible sources conflict, PIQSY keeps that uncertainty visible rather than inventing a single definitive answer. If an important fact cannot be verified, it should remain unknown until better evidence is available.
Recommendations are not based on popularity
PIQSY Match uses the needs and constraints you provide together with checked product information. Commission, retailer relationship, review volume and general popularity do not decide the recommendation.
Reviews and updates
Content can remain in draft while product details, evidence or imagery are being checked. Published content should be reviewed when important product facts change or PIQSY identifies a meaningful evidence gap.
