Editorial standards
Editorial Policy
PIQSY is built to make the reasoning behind a recommendation inspectable. This policy summarises how products, evidence and commercial relationships are handled.
Exact-model research
PIQSY aims to identify products by exact model rather than relying on a brand family name alone. Australian model codes and market-specific specifications are preferred where they can be verified.
Evidence hierarchy
Manufacturer and official Australian product records are primary sources for specifications and intended product features. Retailer records can support current pricing, availability and model identity. Reputable independent sources may be used for testing, ownership context or cross-checking where relevant.
Conflicts and unknowns
If credible sources disagree, PIQSY should keep the conflict visible rather than invent a single definitive value. If a material fact cannot be verified, it should remain unknown until better evidence is available.
Fit is not popularity
PIQSY Match uses category-specific needs, constraints and verified product attributes. Affiliate commission, retailer, ASIN, review volume and general popularity are not Match Fit inputs.
Draft, review and updates
Editorial assets can remain in draft while product records, evidence or imagery are being checked. Published content should be reviewed when material product facts change or when PIQSY identifies a meaningful evidence gap.
Corrections
If you believe PIQSY has the wrong model, specification or source interpretation, email hello@piqsy.com.au. Useful corrections include the exact product, the disputed detail and a source we can verify.
