The size difference is the main decision

Galaxy Tab S11 uses an 11.0-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and weighs 469g. Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra expands to 14.6 inches and 692g.

That is a 223g tablet-only weight difference, before adding a case or keyboard. The Ultra gives substantially more room for large documents, split-screen work, drawing and desk-based media. The S11 is materially easier to carry, hold and use away from a desk.

Bigger is therefore not an automatic upgrade. It is useful only when the extra workspace is used often enough to repay the size and weight penalty.

RAM and storage are intentionally equal

Those are manufacturer test claims rather than controlled PIQSY runtime tests. They show the Ultra has greater stated battery capacity and a longer Samsung video rating, but real runtime still depends on brightness, workload, radios and software.

Camera hardware differs

Galaxy Tab S11 uses a 13MP rear camera and 12MP front camera. S11 Ultra adds a second 8MP rear camera alongside its 13MP main rear camera, with a 12MP front camera.

If full Windows desktop applications are mandatory, settle that platform requirement before comparing Samsung tablets.
