Galaxy Tab S10 FE vs S10 FE+: Portable 10.9-Inch or 13.1-Inch Workspace?
A decision-first comparison of Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+, separating the shared Exynos 1580 and S Pen-oriented FE platform from the real decision: portability versus a much larger 13.1-inch workspace.
The decision
Should a Galaxy Tab S10 FE buyer keep the lighter 10.9-inch model or move to the 13.1-inch FE+ when both use the Exynos 1580 FE platform?

Decision reasoning
Why the choice changes.
The decision
This is primarily a size and portability decision, not a performance-tier decision.
Choose the Galaxy Tab S10 FE when you want the FE platform in a more portable 10.9-inch, 497g body.
Choose the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ when the 13.1-inch canvas materially improves split-screen study, large PDFs, notes or media and you accept a 664g tablet.
The core platform is deliberately similar
Both governed references use the Exynos 1580, 8GB memory, 128GB storage, microSD expansion up to 2TB, 90Hz TFT displays and an S Pen-oriented FE workflow.
That shared platform is the reason not to treat FE+ as a generic performance upgrade. Its main value is more screen and battery capacity in a much larger chassis.
Screen size is the real reason to choose FE+
S10 FE uses a 10.9-inch 2304x1440 display. FE+ expands the workspace to 13.1 inches at 2880x1800.
The larger panel can be useful for side-by-side documents, handwritten notes beside source material, larger PDFs and media. It also makes the device substantially less compact for handheld use and travel.
Weight changes the ownership experience
The governed Wi-Fi references are 497g for S10 FE and 664g for S10 FE+ — a 167g increase before adding a case or keyboard.
If you frequently hold the tablet in one hand, carry it around campus or use it on public transport, the standard FE has the clearer physical advantage.
Battery capacity rises with the larger chassis
S10 FE uses an 8000mAh typical battery; FE+ uses 10090mAh. Samsung's standard FE record also carries an up-to-20-hour wireless-video figure, while the FE+ product record carries an up-to-21-hour family figure.
Do not translate the larger battery into a universal real-world runtime win: the larger display also has more area to power and usage varies.
Durability claims should stay exact
Samsung's exact S10 FE record explicitly documents IP68 for the tablet and included S Pen under Samsung's stated lab conditions. PIQSY does not automatically transfer that exact claim to the FE+ record here unless the governed FE+ evidence states it explicitly.
That is an evidence boundary, not a suggestion that the larger model lacks durability.
When Galaxy Tab S10 FE is the better fit
Choose it for portability, handheld use, travel and the same core FE pen/storage proposition in a smaller body.
When Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is the better fit
Choose it when a 13.1-inch workspace is genuinely useful enough to justify 664g and a larger footprint.
PIQSY conclusion
The standard FE is the portable choice; FE+ is the workspace choice. Buy FE+ for screen area, not because the plus sign implies a different performance class.
