Who it fits

The Roborock Qrevo EdgeC is the balanced option in PIQSY's current Robot Vacuum set: a full-service dock, dual spinning mops, carpet detection, obstacle avoidance, DuoDivide anti-tangle architecture and FlexiArm edge cleaning, backed by a more mature exact-model owner sample than many newer competitors.

Its appeal comes from breadth rather than one extreme specification. The important evidence boundary is that PIQSY does not currently have verified EdgeC robot-height or threshold figures, and it does not import those numbers from the older Qrevo Edge.

Best for

Choose it when you want a well-rounded mixed-floor full-service robot and place meaningful weight on a deeper exact-model ownership evidence base.

Not ideal for

It is a weaker fit when low furniture or unusually high thresholds are hard physical constraints, because those exact EdgeC measurements are unresolved in the governed record.

Its case is breadth, not one headline feature

Anti-tangle and edge hardware matter most in pet homes

Roborock's DuoDivide roller architecture is designed to manage hair differently from a conventional single brush, while FlexiArm hardware extends cleaning toward edges.

Those are structural features worth considering for pet-hair and perimeter-cleaning problems. PIQSY does not convert their presence into a guarantee of zero tangles or perfect edge pickup.

Height and threshold figures stay unknown until exact evidence resolves them

The current canonical EdgeC record has null robot-height and threshold fields. That is intentional.

Specifications from the older Qrevo Edge—including threshold or AdaptiLift claims—must not be copied onto EdgeC because the names are similar. If clearance or door tracks are hard constraints, choose a model with exact measurements instead.

The dock reduces repetitive work, not maintenance itself

The station supports self-emptying, mop washing, drying and automatic water refill. That reduces after-run handling.

You still own a water-based dock: tanks, mop pads, brushes, filters and the station itself need routine cleaning and replacement cycles.

Suction is recorded but not used as the winner signal

Roborock lists 18,500Pa for this model. PIQSY records that manufacturer specification but does not use it as evidence that EdgeC cleans better than a competitor with a lower or higher Pa number.

Floor pickup depends on brush design, airflow, software, surface and test conditions, not one non-standardised headline figure.
