Choose Dimplex DHCERA15M if you want the simpler low-cost heater and place extra value on clearly verified tip-over plus overheat protection. Choose Kambrook KCE180 if its 1.42 kg weight, electronic thermostat and 12-hour timer will materially improve daily use.

Both are 1500W — that does not make them interchangeable

Both occupy the compact ceramic-heater role, but the ownership workflow differs. Dimplex uses straightforward manual controls. Kambrook adds a 10–35°C electronic thermostat, 12-hour auto-off and 60-degree oscillation.

For short bursts in a small room, that extra control may add little. For repeated desk or bedroom sessions, it can be the more useful difference than wattage.

The safety-evidence difference

Dimplex's current AU evidence explicitly verifies both tip-over and overheat protection. Kambrook explicitly verifies ThermoGuard overheat protection, but PIQSY did not find equivalent current primary wording for tip-over protection on KCE180.
