TCL's current Australian specification positions the NXTPAPER 4.0 panel around reduced glare and paper-like viewing modes. The 3:2 aspect ratio also provides useful vertical room for PDFs, articles and web pages.

That makes the product distinctive in a way that processor specifications do not. A buyer who spends long sessions reading or annotating can reasonably prioritise screen treatment over a faster chipset.

If glare reduction is not a meaningful requirement, the NXTPAPER display should not be treated as a generic reason to choose TCL over every other midrange tablet.

The 120Hz display is smooth, but Helio G100 keeps the role mainstream

The family supports refresh up to 120Hz, while the version reviewed here uses MediaTek Helio G100 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
