Philips NA352 vs Ninja AF400: Asymmetric or Equal Zones?

The practical choice

Choose the Philips NA352 when dinner usually means one larger main plus a smaller side. Its 6L + 3L split is intentionally asymmetric.

Choose the Ninja AF400 when you regularly cook two similarly substantial foods and want two interchangeable 4.75L zones.

Both can coordinate different zones to finish together. The decision is therefore much more about portion geometry and bench fit than feature count.

What changes the choice

Philips gives the main more space

NA352 allocates 6L to one basket and 3L to the other. That is useful when one food consistently dominates the meal—protein in the larger side, vegetables or chips in the smaller side, for example.

The limitation is equally clear: the 3L drawer cannot become a second large zone when both foods need substantial capacity.

Ninja makes both drawers interchangeable

AF400 splits 9.5L total into 2 × 4.75L. Either drawer can handle the same size job, so you are not assigning one side permanently to “main” and the other to “side”.

That flexibility is valuable when meal proportions change or when you regularly split one larger batch across both baskets.

The extra 0.5L of total capacity versus Philips is not the main reason to choose it; the equal distribution is.
