Oil thermal mass versus panel convection

Dragon5 is an oil-filled radiator. It warms more gradually but is well suited to maintaining a steady room temperature over longer sessions. De'Longhi states 2400W, an up-to-75m³ room claim and electronic regulation to ±0.5°C.

Ausclimate uses fan-free panel convection with inverter power modulation and a manufacturer claim up to 30m². It should not be interpreted as instant heat; owners also report mixed results in larger rooms.

Portability and layout strongly favour Ausclimate

Dragon5 weighs 16.82 kg. Castors make same-floor repositioning practical, but stairs are not its job. ACPH915 is much lighter and can be freestanding or wall-mounted.

Safety evidence is now strong on both

Current governed evidence explicitly verifies tip-over auto-off and a Safety Thermostat for Dragon5, while ACPH915 explicitly verifies tip-over and overheat protection.
