PIQSY Match

Find the portable air conditioner that fits your room

Start with room size, heat load, whether you can vent outside and whether heating matters. PIQSY only asks noise, app-control or inverter follow-ups when those distinctions can still change a close shortlist.

Question 1How large is the room you most need to cool?

Use the room you expect this unit to work hardest in.

Fit is a household-use match, not a universal cooling-performance score. The v2 public flow keeps the v1 Decision calibration and frozen regression evidence unchanged while reducing universal question burden. Manufacturer room guidance and unlike dB metrics remain treated conservatively, and commercial signals never affect Fit. In v3, a rough budget remains a preference: if current price is temporarily unavailable, PIQSY marks that budget evidence uncertain rather than treating the product as over budget. The firm-maximum toggle remains non-compensable.

Your decision profile

PIQSY is narrowing the field without showing you an early favourite.

That avoids anchoring your later answers around a product name. The next question is chosen from what can still change the recommendation.

PIQSY ranks fit from your stated needs, hard constraints and verified product facts. If a critical fact is uncertain, a product can be excluded or no strong match is shown. Evidence depth and confidence are explained on the product Verdict where the underlying sources can be inspected in context.
