Hisense C3 4K Triple Laser Projector vs JMGO N1S Ultimate
Hisense C3 vs JMGO N1S Ultimate: two premium flexible 4K triple-laser projectors, with Hisense emphasising optical zoom and JMGO emphasising gimbal range plus Google TV.
The switch
Choose C3 when optical zoom and an ANSI-rated 2500-lumen system matter; choose N1S Ultimate when wide gimbal adjustment and Google TV are the stronger fit.

Decision reasoning
Why the choice changes.
What you'll actually notice
Both give you premium 4K triple-laser projection in a design that is easier to reposition than a traditional fixed projector. The difference is how they give you that flexibility.
The C3 adds optical zoom, which is useful when the projector stays roughly in one direction but the distance to the screen changes. The N1S Ultimate leans harder on its wide gimbal movement, which is useful when you want to aim the picture at different walls or angles.
That makes this less about one being “better” and more about whether you need easier image sizing or easier physical aiming. The smart-TV system can then break a close tie.
What changes the choice
Which is easier to aim?
Both are flexible designs, but JMGO publishes a particularly wide 360-degree horizontal / 135-degree vertical gimbal range. Hisense C3 also uses a gimbal-style design.
If changing the direction of projection is central, JMGO's published adjustment range is easier to understand. If the projector mostly stays facing one wall, the gimbal difference should not dominate the decision.
Which is easier to size to the screen?
C3 includes optical zoom, which is a major practical advantage when the projector position changes. N1S Ultimate uses a fixed 1.2:1 throw ratio.
That gives Hisense more freedom to alter image size without moving the chassis or relying on digital scaling. For variable room distances, C3's optical system can matter more than JMGO's broader aiming range.
How should you compare 2500 ANSI and 3300 ISO lumens?
C3 is rated at 2500 ANSI lumens. N1S Ultimate is rated at 3300 ISO lumens.
Those are different measurement standards. We would not call JMGO brighter simply because 3300 is the larger number. Treat both as premium high-output home projectors, then judge room light, image size and screen rather than creating a false cross-standard winner.
Which smart system fits better?
JMGO uses Google TV with native Netflix. Hisense uses its VIDAA ecosystem.
For many buyers, Google TV's app familiarity is a meaningful convenience. VIDAA can still cover major Australian streaming services, but availability should be checked against your own must-have list. If you use an external streamer, the system difference becomes much less important.
What is the real reason to pick one?
C3's strongest hardware distinction is the combination of optical zoom, premium stated output and Hisense's flexible home-projector design. N1S Ultimate's strongest distinction is its large gimbal range plus Google TV.
Neither should win from “triple laser” alone because both share that broad projector setup. Choose the setup system you will actually use.
The practical choice
Choose C3 if optical zoom solves more of your setup problem than a wider gimbal range.
Choose N1S Ultimate if you expect to re-aim the projector often and prefer Google TV with native Netflix.
Do not use 2500 ANSI versus 3300 ISO as the deciding shortcut. They are different brightness standards, so that comparison looks cleaner on paper than it really is.
In practice, the C3 is easier to justify when the projector will change distance from the screen. Optical zoom means you can resize the image without moving the whole unit as much. The N1S Ultimate is easier to justify when the direction of projection changes more often than the distance — for example, moving from a front wall to a side wall or ceiling-facing position.
That distinction also changes how much the smart system matters. Google TV on the JMGO is useful if you want the projector to remain self-contained as you move it around. If the C3 will live with an Apple TV, console or other external source, VIDAA becomes much less important and the optical setup can carry more weight.
A simple room test can settle this pair quickly. If you expect the projector-to-screen distance to change, optical zoom is the feature you are more likely to appreciate, which favours the C3. If the distance stays similar but you want to point the picture at different surfaces, the JMGO's wider gimbal movement is more relevant. That turns two impressive-looking flexibility features into a practical question about how your room actually changes.
When to choose Hisense C3
- Optical zoom matters.
- You prefer Hisense/VIDAA.
- You want the C3's 65-300 inch flexible home positioning.
When to choose JMGO N1S Ultimate
- Wide gimbal adjustment is central.
- Google TV / native Netflix matters.
- You prefer JMGO's compact premium home-projector workflow.
Choose neither when
Choose neither if battery portability or ultra-short-throw placement is a hard requirement.
PIQSY conclusion
Choose C3 when optical zoom and an ANSI-rated 2500-lumen system matter; choose N1S Ultimate when wide gimbal adjustment and Google TV are the stronger fit.
The best choice is the one that removes the bigger compromise in your actual room; a small specification advantage should not override placement, use case or workflow.
